"There is a spirit that exists here.  Even on the bleakest days there are several people or incidents that make you excited to be a part of this place.  It can be something as small as an award that was given by the students, unsolicited, to Marc Wilson for letting his students know they “can make it.”  Or it can be as big as a graduating class that on the whole was very challenging, but they stepped across the stage proud with a sense of accomplishment.  It is helping young people to see how they can test their limits.  It is the students’ survival against many odds that inspires me to keep getting up in the morning to see they get through another day."

Welcome to DeLaSalle Education Center

For nearly 40 years, DeLaSalle has developed and honed its program model on three primary ingredients for student success:

  • Academic classes that are small, rigorous and personalized;
  • Holistic support services that provide on-site interventions and address students' life barriers; and
  • Workforce development training that is integrated into everyday learning.

The mission of DeLaSalle Education Center is to provide a holistic environment that offers students an opportunity to improve learning and life skills.
